Have never fished them on the James but have on the New. They are defitnley fun! Can be hand full at times

Does anybody ever fish the James around Snowden, Big Island for Flatheads. I used to hear of alot of people doing this. Have not heard much about it the last couple of years. Sounded like maybe it would have been alot of fun. |

If I remember, I think your neighbor, Max, has done quite a bit of catfishing on the James. Might want to shoot him a PM. I don't remember where though. The stretches of river you mentioned has to be one of the prettiest I've seen. Never fished it though. |

I fish Snowden alot but this year i havent done alot of good so far.It is good bank fishing at the picneck area.I usually catch most of my bait in the Muary at the park because flatheads have made sunperch and redeyes scarce around snowden.If you want to go send me a pm |
