 New river wade trip

Post New river wade trip
Went wade fishin on the new yesterday near radford. The redeye bite was awesome. Caught about 30 redeye and 12 smallies. Also got to watch 2 mink play on the rivers edge. What a great day on the water. The river was a great shape yesterday.

They were biting on 2-3 inch power grubs rigged with lead head hook. They were also biting on small minnow swim baits, and rebel crawdads. I did not have a lot of tackle with me because I was wading, but the grubs in darker green and rust color worked well with a fleck. Good luck tomorrow.
