Went wade fishin on the new yesterday near radford. The redeye bite was awesome. Caught about 30 redeye and 12 smallies. Also got to watch 2 mink play on the rivers edge. What a great day on the water. The river was a great shape yesterday. |

They were biting on 2-3 inch power grubs rigged with lead head hook. They were also biting on small minnow swim baits, and rebel crawdads. I did not have a lot of tackle with me because I was wading, but the grubs in darker green and rust color worked well with a fleck. Good luck tomorrow. |
