Briery Creek Lake..
Hey guys and gals..just wondered if any or how many of ya fish or have fished Briery Creek Lake near Farmville and how you did...I fished it one time about 6 years ago and didn't do much good....just checkin....

Don't know about the fishin', but the duck and goose shooting can be pretty good!

Hendup...I have not done any duck or goose huntin...but have been thinkin about it....its about the only type of huntin that I have never done in Va....thanks for the come back...

I do alot of turkey huntin around and woods adjoining the lake.......Have bass fished it a crappie fished it for about 10 years at least 1 to 5 times a year. Getting hot now but you can still find some big slabs in deeper water. Bassin is good but not as good as in Mar. and April. Caught crappie to 3.5 lbs and bass to 12.5. on Briery. Most crappie fishing I do there is in Mar. and April as well.
