My son set the ridiculous goal of catching a 10 lb bass this year.

Well, according to his tackle box scales, he did it Saturday.

Here's the 4 lber he caught as a warm-up.

After he caught that one, he got into the water and waded around the small lake, in order to better reach the places he wanted to fish.

It proved to be a good move!

He caught it on a weigtless texas rigged dark blue 8" worm, and released it to fight again!

Tell him Congrats!! Very nice fish!

My biggest largemouth to date is 7 3/4 pounds and that was from the early 90's.

its one thing to hook one like that, but a whole nother story to get it in without losing it
