Has anyone started to chase after Mr. Whiskers yet, Wondering if the river cats have started to bite or not. I have been really wanting to head out and try it but. It conflicts with Turkey hunting right now and I'm torn between the two. Ha, so far the Turkey Hunting has been winning. Will be over this comming weekend and then I'll head after Mr. Whiskers..... Let me know if you have been and have done any good or not.

Went to the lake over the weekend for flatheads. Got zero. One channel, two stripers and one hybrid were boated. Good time had by all but no large flatheads yet.

the big flatheads are bitin' down here in SC. I caught one Sunday that measeured 36" long and 29" around the girth. also caught 4 channels

I went for about 10 times there the last two weeks of May without any luck, So I quit to get it warm up some, we went tonight without any luck. I wish the VDGIF would stock some catfish here. It is really hard to catch any. Last year was a good year for me and this river, we eneded up catching 5 which is pretty good since 90% of the time we go out and bring back nothing at all. Keep me posted if I cannot catch them at least I can read about someone who is. Ha,,,,
