I went yesterday to lake curtis....I got no bites from 6:00- 12:30...The water was still cold but I used all types pf lure, in all depths, got nothin....not even a blue gill...Tryin to find a another lake to try out this Sunday..If anyone has any situations..please let me know...

Lake Frederick in Frederick county off of route 522 south about 5 miles from I-66. This lake has produced some very nice bass with several over 10 pounds. The lake also has walleye, crappie, bluegill and catfish. The water is very clear and makes for some tough fishing so don't look for numbers of fish.

Beaverdam Res between Leesburg and Ashburn off Rt 629 is a great fishery. It has it all, not a lot of pressure 300 Acres some 65 ft water on the dam end with a submerged steel bridge. Limited access one boat landing.
