Hey guys, I havent had much time to spend in the woods chasing turkeys due to tons of school work over the past month, but I have been able to hit up some good fishing holes as the VDGIF stocks them. The first pic here is of 2 citation brook trout that i caught on Toms Creek on 4/3/07. Both fish were caught using spinners. The first was 17 inches, then 15 minutes later, the second one i landed was 16.5 inches. The second pic is from yesterday. This brook trout was also 17 inches, and he was caught using powerbait. I kicked around the idea of having them mounted, but i have convinced myself not to do so.

Those are all nice brookies! It seems as though there have been quite a few of those citation trout being caught this year. I caught a personal best 22" 4.75 lb. brown a couple weeks ago. It just missed being a citation.
