Post Susquehanna Flats Stripers
As I told Freddy the other day... this is what's been distracting me from turkey season this year... :D :D :D

My father, brother, son and I gave the Susquehanna flats a try on Sunday afternoon and we did not leave disappointed. We started off fishing with 5" BA's however we ended up catching our fish on cut herring. The bay was nice and calm we ran down to a place called Turkey Point and anchored up just on the north side of the fleet of boats. We ended up fishing from about 1-5pm and only caught two stripers (both on the herring), however, my brother caught a 40" fish and my son caught one that was 30". My dad also had a schoolie on for a while but it ended up getting off at the boat. We also marked a lot of bait fish and I caught a good sized white perch. The afternoon was a little slow but it was still a great day (especially seeing the smile on my son's face).

Great job! That looks like a ton of fun. It has been the ruination of many a good man, however (sixshot, Mudfork....) There still might be time to call an exorcist to save your turkey season but it is not looking good. Congrats again.
