I wish I could help you out personally, but I've got two dogs and a 4.5 month old son so the inn is full. I might suggest that you get a username on this http://refugeforums.com/refuge/index.php website and post the add in "classifieds" and also on the Virginia page and other surrounding states that can be found if you scroll down to the bottom. These are more savvy dog and duck guys that might appreciate pedigree a bit more and be more willing to pay you what is fair. I will warn that sometimes the posters get a little testy (I know hard to believe on a hunting forum..........) with their questions etc. But, it will at least maybe get your ad out to a few more folks. Also, you might want to try an ad on http://www.gundogbreeders.com/ or even try contacting the breeder back and asking if they have anyone that is looking for a dog. It sounds like you have a great start on training and development and you might just have someone's perfect Christmas present. Good luck.
