| Post subject: | Looking for some Deer Antler boards |
I have a few sets of antlers that need a good board for a home.. and I don't really like any of the ones I've seen in stores or magazines lately.. not sure what type of wood I'm looking for.. Oak, Maple, Poplar.. I will know when I see it and if I like it.. If anyone on here is a workworker or knows someone who sells them please PM me.. |

walnut will usually nmake a beautiful backing , try a local wood worker and see if he will cut you a piece . shouldnt be to expensive , you could even stain it your self. |

Try walnutcreekhardwood.com , they have oak and walnut anltler panels, and mounting supplies. I use the laser engraved panels and the deer mannequins. (half skull plate type) They also have turkey beard and tail mounting boards. |

now is a very good time to check Walmart. After hunting season they mark down most of their hunting items. Last year, i picked up antler boards there for 4 bucks a piece. Last week, i got an Ameristep outhouse blind. Not the biggest one, but still pretty nice for 19.00 |

hey wvboy give me a call . i have alot of different kinds of hardwoods flooring left over from work . maple, cherry and several kinds of oak hope to seeya in the woods this year. john |
