Two doe and a fat 5 pter for me so far. Have seen some real hammers the past week but no shots taken. Some of the biggest deer I've ever laid eyes on. Ready to get the gun in my hands next Monday in WV. |

I only hunt one farm and the owner doesn't allow archery or muzzleloader. He believes strongly that nice bucks need a chance to "seed" the does before they get whacked. Can't say I agree or disagree. I do know unfortunately that most of the nicer bucks are killed before I ever get a chance to pull the trigger, because they are off his property and running does. |

First trip to the Virginia woods was today. The gun held up its end of the deal for sure. Deer was taken in Shenandoah County. Only deer I saw all day:
