Awesome Guys, Yes Dale probably one more year for you. I think I am on the three year after my buck so back on the doe train.

I would love to see some pics of deer shot at the ammo plant, or even of bucks seen during the doe hunts.

Is it quicker to get on the doe hunt for bow or shotgun?

I put in for the first time this year but did not get picked, didn't expect to. When I attended Radford University rumors were the state record lived behind those fences. Gonna keep trying though!

Never done the bow hunt but suspect the wait is about the same as gun. Takes 3-5 years depending on the number of applicants per year to get drawn. It is a point system. Once you participate in a doe hunt, then you are back in the cycle for the buck hunt. Took me 4 application years to get drawn for the buck hunt this year. Now to get that slug gun dialed in...
