Post sons buck
Hey everyone, Well we started out the morning at a local park where my son saw two doe, but didn't have a shot. As the day went by, we decided to go and try a different spot in the evening. We ended up at another park where he saw the half rack (2 points on the side). At least at the time he didn't know it was a buck and he didn't plan on shooting a buck that small. When i talked to him after he had shot it and have it run forty yards and fall, he thought it was a doe! When we approached it, it was a little buck, but we both thought oh well, what an experiance! I just didn't know how he could mistake it for a doe. I guess since it was dark, rainy, and a dreary day, it just made things hard to see. Oh well, we both had a great day. The only thing I think we both would've wished happen, was that he would've shot it and it died at a better place. Only because we had to drag it up a 150 yard steep hill back to the car, which nearly took us an hour.(His friend losing his phone didn't help much.
