Nice going and great shot. Not only did you get (a lot of) meat, but whacking a few does early can make the rut in your hunting areas heighten. |

I got lucky and shot a nice doe Friday. My son and I were only in the stand 15 minutes and 2 fawn popped out. They went over the hill and then momma came out. She scoped the area and looked like she was about to run so I tank her with the 50 cal. I would guess she weighed 90 lbs. Lots of fat on her. Very healthy doe. She too looks yummy. Vic |
