My buddies Bull!
Hi all been gone for awhile got in on an exciting hunt, wanted to share a picture of my buddies Colorado bull.
Weather was hot and not much bugleing yet so Steve and his guide put a spot and stalk on this one on the forth evening. National Forest and over-the-counter tag. Made the shot at 11 yards!

Man that must have been some kinda adrenaline rush! There's actually a few Elk around my neck of the woods, hopefully sometime in the near future I'll have the opportunity to hunt those big monsters in the same places I've hunted Turkey in the past. Me and my brother-in-law found a huge shed (not quite the size of this one) just this past spring turkey season about 20-30 minutes from my house on our way to a late morning "courtesy gobbling" tom. Anyway, thanks for sharing and congrats to your buddie!

Ain't that a blast. I'll be after them soon. Didn't make the time to get the bow out this year, but will be after them w/ the rifle later. Congrats to your friend.
