Post Our rustic barn board rock fire place finished basement.
Tore down some old standing oak board barns for the rough weathered look and a rock wall and a rock fire place with a old weathered oak chestnut oak log cut in half for the mantle with old weathered chestnut oaks with limbs to look as if it's hold the mantle up and I did the same to mount my turkey on. And all the bucks are public land deer from the Virginia Highlands. The gobbler was a bird that my dad worked into me. He gobble one time in two hours and it took him two hours to come 100 yards. My dad keep moving farther and farther away from me and he never called just scratched the leaves for the bird to finally show himself. He had a 11.5" beard and a 4" beard 1 1/4" spurs and was 21 lbs. What do you think of the old weathered barn board look?

If you've got a spare recliner let me know and I'll bring the chips and dip. That room has a great look, and there are lots of nice bucks looking back. Sounds like you've got some others to add too.

The only thing missing is a big old bear trap hanging from the wall...
