I am debating that .. not sure he is worthy of a mount.. I think he will only go in the 130 range .. and I have only mounted 140 or above previously.. I have only mounted 2 so far :) .. I killed a 138 3 years ago that I now wish I would have mounted though.. just did a Euro on him ..

I use a relative of mine in WV .. I tried going cheap on a big ten I killed and the mount is horrible .. I won't do that again.. would rather pay my relative a good price and get a good mount.. he did excellent on my first one .. he has been doing it for 25 years or so..

Congrats on a nice buck! Now what's the story on it?

I have been doing Euros on my nicer bucks for a while now. In a lot of ways I prefer them to shoulder mount. You can do it yourself for just a few bucks. I would get another shoulder mount done on the right buck.....but it would take a very special buck.

Here I thought I was going to see him hanging out of that Prius. Congrats! They are really starting to move. Hope I get on one soon.

Thanks guys..

They are moving .. I missed a buck this morning that I think would push 150 inches .. not sure what happened .. he was closer than the one I killed yesterday ..

Not much of story on this guy.. I killed him just a daybreak cruising .. shot was 140 yds with the TC pro hunter.. ran about 75 and piled up.. but took a while to find him in the tall grass as the smoke caused me not to see him run and he bled right where I shot him.. but then didn't bleed again for 25 yds or so ..

Congrats on the great buck! I'm hoping to connect with one of our trail cam bucks this week. That's a pretty impressive feat.

Glad to hear you all are seeing the big guys on their feet this week. I was out Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, and I only saw good activity Monday morning, just no nice bucks. Hopefully Friday and Saturday will be a different story.
