Well Saturday was the day i finally broke the ice i shot a nice mature doe around 7:15am on a soybean field in Mount Holly Va., an then around 5ish that evening i shot a 70 or 80lb doe, i watched her feed in a clearing in the woods for a half hour or so an it started getting pretty dark fast an light was fading so i decided to take the shot, was kinding of hoping for a buck to show but it was a no deal. I'll tell you what i could smell her from about 10ft away, i don't know if i'm the only one that does this but i saved the pee an trasal glands for use next Saturday, a old fella i knew said a buck would respond better to a deer he has been smelling so i got my fingers crossed...... |

do that with bucks too, has worked even better combined w/ rattling. Refridgerate, warm in pocket or truck on way to stand, a tarsal each side of stand wet down w/ urine. |
