This is from one of our trail cams.
Yes, it's a whitetail fawn.
No, the photo has not been doctored.

How crazy is this?

The photo looks like the mother may be motteled too. Could it be piebald? If nothing else they will make excellent aim points when the fawn is big enough to eat.

Is this the same one we saw in late season that looked like a new born?

Some does come in very late and therfore birth late. I have seen spotted fawns this time if year a couple times. But its pretty uncommon.

One's a fluke....if you start seeing several, it's an indication of a problem that your herd is out of proportion.
