Post What's up with all the guests?
Seems like much of the day there has been 50+ guests on the forum. Is there really that many lurkers not posting or some kind of bot invasion on the site?

Lots of times I lurk without signing in. Does that show up as a "guest" being present? If so, I would say that is the case with lots.

Usually might see 8-10 guests and a couple logged in, but a few times today it surged to 50+, just didn't know if that's because of hunting season, or some other reason.

Probably "crawlers". A lot of the search engines use crawlers to search for content... Google, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, Ask.com, etc... Probably a crap load of spammers too... my daily battle... :(
