Just wanted to drop a note to my friends here on VA Turkey....Yesterday...my wife and I welcomed beautiful, healthy, twin baby girls ....Cheryl Paige (6.2lbs 19in long )and Madison Reid (7.2 lb 21in long)to our family! Momma and babies are doing great!! A lot of us on here, including myself are so very passionate about our outdoor lifestyles and up until Monday I found myself consumed with and chasing a couple shooter whitetails (especially one true monster!!!), scouting fall turkey and quacker patterns, and overall just thinking and breathing the fall WOODS wondering....worrying how much time I'll actually get in the field this fall and winter with our babies on the way...Well.....one look in the beautiful eyes of my newborn daughters yesterday morning and every selfish bone left my 38 year old body! Now granted... my outdoor passion hasn't left....I will have some time to squeeze in hunts here and there with the support of a wonderful....wonderful....understanding... wife and large family as I finish up my farming season this fall...but what I'm saying is ....that my life has truely changed for the better and it's so supprising how one little baby...or babies....change everything! |

It's all about the balance in life and your balance will swing greatly over the next year for sure. Congrats on the life changing event. May you find sleep where you can and enjoy those baby girls every waking moment! Oh yea, squeeze in a hunt when you can! |

Very well done for both of you, especially your wife as she was the real hero this day. Had my first last July and he has been such a blessing to our family. You are in for a ton of fun (X2, may God Bless you), but first you're in for not much sleep. Enjoy every second. Congratulations. |
