Looks like Bristol will be getting the first Virginia Cabelas!

You lucky folks down there! I was hoping for one in Charlottesville or Harrisonburg. H-burg doesn't even have a big sporting goods store like Dick's or Gander Mtn and all C-ville has is a Dick's.

VTHChunter- H'burg is getting a Dick's very soon...it's going in the mall. We were hoping that Cabela's was coming to Staunton...we know it was a site they considered but apparently didn't have enough appeal with 2 interstates coming together here!

I was thinking Staunton would have been a better location as well, but I guess the Bristol Location will get traffic out of VA, WV, TN, KY, & NC being in that location. I'm already looking forward to my next Cabela's trip.
