Post subject:  warren county hunters (Front Royal)
Does anyone out there hunt (Warren county)Front Royal Va area, near the base of skyline dr (shenandoah national park)? just picked up a 100 acre trac and wanted to know how the deer activity is and when the rut starts to kick off out that way. never hunted foot hill/ mountain terrain?

The deer there are scarce and small...you probably shouldn't hunt there. I would be glad to come and scare away all those small deer. :mrgreen:

Actually, that area is known for producing some very nice bucks. Great genetics in that area. Congratulations on picking up some prime hunting ground.
