Does anyone else feel the pressure of bow season with the earn a buck program all for the earn a buck program have always like to shoot does with bow due to the rut but now feel like i have to does anyone else feel the pressure

The only difference for me is that I will shoot the first small doe, whereas before they might have gotten a pass. I will still pass on a button if I see the buttons. After EAB tags are filled small does are usually getting a pass too. I think EAB has brought down the deer #'s in Bedford a bit, which was the purpose.

It would be tough to shoot a nice buck and then have a shot at another before filling the EAB requirment...but that hasn't happened to me and I'm not too worried about it. I don't see that many nice bucks in the early seasons and the does are usually easy to find.

I understand completely. My time in the woods right now has been limited and I am seeing some nice does that i would like to put an arrow in but I always seem to be in the wrong tree :x. Bring on blackpowder! Saturday AM I'm keeping my bow in its case and getting out my shotgun and fall turkey hunting. I need a change of pace!
