Calling
I never much believed in calling, but some friends say it works. So last year I did a little calling with a bleat can and did have a doe come right too me. This year I have been grunting and called two young bucks to me. Another bud says the snort wheeze is the best call for large bucks. What is your experience and how do you use the call? Rattle?
I just grunt a couple or 3 times and bleat every now and again. If I see deer I will do one or the other depending on the sex. I have tried some rattling to no avail, but you never know.

Re: Calling
I ususually don't call unless I see the deer. I have brought deer into shooting range with soft grunts. No doubt rattling can work but I haven't messed with it much.
