| Post subject: | Calling All Deer Hunters |
Someone out there got to have a deer story. Maybe not killed one but at least a story. I am not a deer hunter but have heard a couple stories at Quantico game check station. Pretty good deer kill so far, deer looking healthy. So far had 3 hunters that have had black bears within 30 yards of thier stands but did not have a bear tag. Earl |

Been hunting the farm in Prince William Co. lots of rubs and plenty of acorns. Passed on 1 small buck and have seen a couple does. The real story is the amount of turkeys seen the couple days I've been out!!!! |

I've only been out once so far. Including myself, we had three people on our lease on opening day and we hunted from sunup to sundown. I was the only person to see a deer, a three pointer. I did see a group of jakes, about 8 of them. During the evening rain I had a family flock of 12 come by on their way to roost.
