Hokieman, since Old Forester has been the bigger man and decided to remove himself from the discussion I will step up. You talk like you know every move he has ever made hunt, he is a renegade, and you are the poster of perfection. It says you live in Giles which puts you a long way from deer-dogging country. You shouldn't make accusations without knowing source information because it just makes you come across as ignorant (fyi: ignorant doesn't mean stupid, it means lacking knowledge). What we as hunters with differences of opinion need is a civil exchange of knowledge. There will always be differences among hunters, but we must stand for one another to protect all our rights so the "fine" folks in Washington won't begin to chip away at all we enjoy. Give them an inch and they will take a mile. Let's keep the discussion civil and professional. No one will respect your posts when all you do is name call and accuse.

Yeah I do live in Giles and I have traveled to Danville and Halifax to hunt many times with my good friend xxxx xxxxx. His family owned a farm between the deer doggers and they ran all sides of the property and ran the deer on his property, Used to ride the 4 wheelers ahead of the hounds and sit and wait. they used cb's and would tell which farm they was going to run so we knew which side to sit on. we was called pot lickers by them doggers they cussed us and threaten us but we sure enough shot the deer they ran thru the property and we was kind enough to let em come over and catch their dogs. I helped and would sometimes take a load back for em and get cussed out and un appreciated. yeap I know them good boys and enjoyed the times I had down their hunting. but the farm was sold a few years back to a timber company and I haven't been in awhile sure enough miss sitting there in the quiet woods and all of a sudden you hear a pack of walkers coming your way pushing 5 to 10 does maybe a buck and your heart is running a mile a minute with every bark, hold on if you didn't get a shot at em be quiet and still they going to bring em back to you any sec now. yeah this ol pot licker hunted this way every year for 10 yrs this way love the trip and looked forward to it.
