Agree. MZL season opens this Thursday up here. I hope to hunt all the days I can, Th, Fr, and Sat. That cold front could make it a good weekend.

Was out yesterday morning and had 2 little bucks wander past at different times. Since the were traveling alone I would assume that means the bachelor groups have broken up or are breaking up and that means it is getting ready to start. If the cold front comes in like tauted on the weather channel, it could be a real good weekend.

Been seeing some rubs, sapplings snapped off. A few scapes. My mom heard 2 bucks fighting behind her house this am. This weekend should be good for movment with the weather moving in.

Found my first scrape of the season today in Augusta County. Not seeing lots of deer movement right now though.

On my way to work this morning seen 3 does and nice buck on the edge of cut corn field the temps are starting to drop i think there's sum pre rutting action starting to go on, around here in the northern neck. I mite start trying to use sum buck lure this weekend mite be the ticket!
