After lots of searching...big score! 7 boxes of Win Xtended Range 2 3/4 #6's
Ready to take my Rem 1100 back to the woods again. First shotgun I ever bought.
Took my first bird with it in '83...before some of you pups were even born!
Figured it was time to let the old girl do what she did many times over the first 16 years I hunted with her.
Had the engraving done sometime in the mid to late 80's.

First longbeard for both me and that gun. Gotta love that camo!

Glad you found some. Did you use it for one of your birds this year? The gun on you chair looks like it should reach out there and touch them.

Didn't use the 1100 this year Vic.
Yes, the A-5 in the pic will definitely reach out there and touch them!

tell me about Bruce East and the carving on the stock?. I think I read his name correctly. I expect that gun could tell some stories. My guns have been sworn to secrecy.

A good friend that I went to school with had Mr East carve his stock. When I saw it I asked if he would introduce me to him.
Mr. East's carving talent was incredible and he had some small scale carvings of whitetail and other animals. Have no idea where he is now
