After pitching a Perfect Game last Saturday (12 Ks) in her tournament Abby caught up on some rest during the first part of spring break. Finally decided to go on Friday morning and by 7:00 we were back at the house. I think she's already inherited the golden horseshoe. She did this one without a blind and handled herself like a pro making a nice 20 yard shot after having the gobbler and some hens all around for 3-4 minutes in range. Nice. Need to cut that beard off and come up and paint my shed. Heck, paint my house. That be a very nice bird. PS. Pretty soon she will be saying "Dad, can I borrow the car. I want to go turkey hunting"? |
