Went out yesterday evening to a private land spot I have to see if I can remember what a turkey looks like. Wednesday I had a bird right off the roost on public land hang up at 60 yards. And Thursday never saw or heard one there so a morale boost was needed. Got out there at 5 p.m. and he stayed out there the rest of the evening and watched him fly up in the tree about 60 yards off the field edge. Setup off to his left on the field edge with a Jake and hen and he wasted not time to fly down and put on a awesome show and beatdown on that Jake. Still going to hunt a couple more states this year so it's not over with yet
