Post VA WMAs for Spring Turkeys
Looking to do a camping trip this spring for a 3 day turkey hunt and was trying to go out to one of the western VA wma's if possible to also scout for bear hunting next year. Any experiences, tips, and best possible areas to go would be greatly appreciated.

Tons of hunting room in swva with the Jefferson National Forest. https://www.dgif.virginia.gov/hunting/

If I was looking for bear and turkeys I would study up on the public lands of, Wythe, Carroll, Bland, Pulaski, Smythe and Washington counties. I've hunted/hunt all six counties and there's plenty of room to stretch your legs, campgrounds and fishing for the afternoons.
