Hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer. Took the entire family to Disney World this summer and had a great time. Even made me feel like a kid again. Also had some great trout fly fishing with the wife and grandkids. But will be letting that go since getting hot and the brookies are in their spawning season till late September. About 1 month away from small game, dove season starting. Be great getting the kids and grandkids back out again. But also getting Patch (turkey dog) back out to get her and myself back in shape for fall turkey. Although one of the worst hatches ever around this area really surprised at the amount of turkeys we are seeing. Especially those long beards, seeing quit a few of them. Seeing a good number of fawns and some really nice bucks. Around here does not look like the white oaks are going to do any good but a little better on the reds.
