Birds 1, Me 0
Saturday late morning I'm hauling lime up to the food plots and spook a few birds out of one them. So I get up early Sunday and sneak in there for the heck of it. It starts getting light and I try a tree call and holy moley I get an answer - from a tom up in a tree about 50 yards right in front of me. Then I see another one about 10 yards to his right in another tree. They're down the ravine so were more or less eye to eye, and of course they're both looking right at me. Needless to say, a short time later they both glided off out of sight down the ravine. I wished them well, went back to the house, ate breakfast and got back to the lime.

Sounds like my year. You just never know when it will happen.

At least you know where they should be. Keep getting after it and they will slip up.
