Tagged out in Florida.
Little late but made the annual trip to florida for the central Florida spring gobbler season on public land and was blessed to fill both my tags this year. Was really tough year compared to years past in trying to find birds but when we did find them they worked to the call beautifully. First bird killed on Sunday at 10:30. And the second was on Wednesday at around 9:45.

Re: Tagged out in Florida.
very nice , as those are not easy birds to catch up with. one of the birds i killed in north florida recently had the same wing colorations as the bird in your top picture, and geographically l wondered if your birds were below the Osceola " line"?

Yeah they are Osceola's. Harvested them in lake county. Yeah I have learned after starting to hunt public land in Virginia it's just best to keep my identity a secret from the internet world..

Yes Earl. 100's of people surf the internet and forums these days. I work hard to find birds and less people who know who iam or what truck I drive etc etc the better. You can't tell me people don't take note on what areas they see you scouting at the q just by seeing your truck. Just my personal opinion.

Might consider taking a few photos wearing a net as an option when your taking photos for posting. That would take card of the identification concern and make for a nicer photo for us lookers.
