Post Re: Tennessee trip questions
i have not personally hunted there but know some others who have. i have seen some of their trophies which were very long spurs from that area. it is rugged mountains where there is public land and likely the best hunting's on lower elevation private ground. sometimes birds in N E tenn are pretty tough to deal with earlier in the season (like late march-early april)…it is a colder climate area generally, more like mountains of S W va than the rolling hills and lower elevation areas of middle TN. Not much help, but there are some folks from that upper E T area who usually show up on the board closer to the season and they will have better info.

Tons, national forest and WMA's! Non resident license is the killer...$214 for 7 day and then additional for WMA or Nat Forest...
