if you weren't ready before...
maybe these four long bearded ffellows i saw this morning will sharpen your interest in the spring birds……one of them might produce more interest than the others.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing. I have seen a few like that over the years. Never saw one while spring hunting though. He would make a beautiful trophy. Will you shoot him if given the chance?

Re: if you weren't ready before...
Probably not get a chance at the white one as he was walking down edge of main busy highway in an ' inch an hour' rain thirty miles from where l have any permission to hunt. picture is lousy focus but all four birds were true long beards and l turned around and went back to shoot the pic out the car window on a cell phone camara in the rain, then tried to edit so lost the minimal photo quality l had to start with. But you asked Would l shoot the white one? of course!

Only seen 2 pure white ones killed. Have seen a couple mixed ones over the years.
Rare, even in a pic. Good pic for all the conditions.

Been seeing a lot of birds both young and mature. Only thing is the land I deer hunt is just for that deer hunting. The land owner and his sons do all the turkey hunting.
