The Turkeys are still gobbling in N. Fauquier as well. Strange season here, it seems some groups of gobblers never seperated. My taggout bird was a 3 yo. He was with 2 others, 1 of which was a 2yo killed by my uncle on the same hunt. We hunted this group once before during the first week, they came in but no shots fired. Hens were still actively calling the last few days of season, but gobblers were still in groups. Our population is exploding in the areas I hunt, I wonder if this has anything to do with the gobblers staying together all season.
