 Talk about a backyard bird!!!I mentioned on here the other day about how I heard a gobbler while still in bed. Well, I got up this morning at daybreak and the old boy was feeling his oats in my back yard. He is roosted about 50 yards from my back deck. There's a beautiful steep hardwood ridge right behind my house that drops down to the river bottom. Here's some quick video. Season is out here...maybe next year...

Re: Talk about a backyard bird!!! Yep, I think it is legal to shoot nuisance animals within 100 yards of your home without a permit. Somehow I don't think the old game warden would agree this is a nuisance animal though!!
