What amazing box call manship
Check this video out of David Halloran http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O9Q6fFEZQUoMight have to copy paste into your address bar to bring the video up. I never walk into the woods without my Primos Single sided Box cutter. What kind of box do you carry?

Some of you fellas may laugh that i said I carry $26.00 Primos box but the box cutter is one the best ive put in my hands. I can make cuts n cackles that are out if this world with it. High front end raspy back end. Love it.

Re: What amazing box call manship
I own so many homemade box calls it ain't funny. My brother and I started making them years ago. Now I just run the ones we kept along in the process. My favorite by far is a Mahogany box my brother made. The wood was 100+ year old wood that he bought from a fellow who makes mandolins, and had the block hanging over his wood heater for decades. This is one nasty, double-toned, raspy lady with so many notches cut in her there's scarcely anywhere left to tally. I use a slate and mouth call a lot, but if I lost this box call I'm not sure I could go to the woods with nearly as much confidence.

The gobbling he does is outstanding. I have to use the rubberband to get sound like his. I use a Lynch double sided call. I really like the sound of it.
