so close!
My oldest child Abby 11 yrs old went with me this morning. It was quite windy and we didn't hear anything on the roost. We went to a good spot and sat down. I called a little and boom one gobbled not 50 yrds out. She lined up and we saw 3 long beards heading our way. Abby tried to get on one but they wouldn't sit still long enough. I tried to get them to hold with calling but no avail. She shot and missed. It was her first close encounter but she looked at me and said can we go tomorrow? God blessed me with an unforgettable morning.

I'm with her. No gobbler ever walked away from me that I didn't want more!! I know it was music to your ears.
