Help please
Here we go again.....
Last year prior to the opening, my trail cams showed flocks of turkeys hitting the fields . When I hunted the fields only hens would show.
Same thing this year, flocks in the fields prior to opening and only two hens today. today....
Where did the Toms go?
Do the flocks break up?

Re: Help please
I've still got Jakes with hen's early in the morning. Appears mid-day the gobblers show up. I don't believe where I hunt that are super fired up yet.

Re: Help please
If you got hens the toms will soon be there. Usually later in the morning. The bird I killed this morning stayed on the roost pretty late. I couldnt figure out why because I could hear other toms thundering down the valley that were on the ground moving. Then all of a sudden a hen flew down of the roost. The Tom followed right away. She came in my direction and he came to me to cut her off. He got to close though and the mossberg gave him a headache. lol Just have patiance. It will come together for ya. These old birds can drive ya crazy sometimes. lol
