OK - so it's not a turkey. Yea, I've been AWOL for a while and didn't figure many people would look at the Deer Talk on opening day of Spring Gobbler.
A few of you probably remember when this little guy had open heart surgery a little over 7 years ago, at 7 months old. I think it was harder on Dad than it was on him.
Here he is with his first buck from last fall - just a little over seven years after that open heart surgery. 150+ yards off of a set of shooting sticks. He was 2 for 2 last fall. Without him, we wouldn't have any venison!
Not bad for a little guy....

Wow. Last time i saw him he was such a tiny little guy and look at him now with a fine deer.. This is the best report l have seen herev for years. Its a good report on the deer but a Great reiport on Quinton and DAD
