| Post subject: | Rumors concerning tagged coyotes |
Supposedly a "tagged" coyote was killed just across our border in West Virgnia this past deer season. Numbered tags were found in the animal's lip and ear (matching numbers). The hunter contacted a game warden who supplied a phone number in PA - a coyote farm. There the contact supposedly said that a truck load of coyotes were released in VA - paid for by a national insurance company to reduce deer vs. car accidents/claims. Is this even remotely possible? |

Urban legend..........heard some variation of same story several times before. Deer vehicls collisions are how insurance companies make money. It's the insured that foot the bill through higher premiums. |
