Product Test "Thug Chair and Primo's Lock Jaw"
Was at Walmart in Winchester yesterday and did the usual stroll by the sporting goods section. They had just received and put out a fair amount of turkey stuff. I usually buy nothing, because I have more junk then I know what to do with. This time I actually bought two things.
One was the new camo "Thug" turkey lounge chair made by Mossy Oak that collapses and is held together tightly by a velcro strap with another adjustable carrying strap. Think it was $22 and it seems well made and weighs about 6 lbs. Also Primo's has 3 little rubber strap things that they call the Lock Jaw for box calls that keeps them from rattling or squaking when you least want it. I'd been using rubber bands to do that for years and they always ended up dry rotting or breaking at exactly the wrong time. Think the Primo's Lock Jaw was about $5.00.
PS. I sat in the thug chair while at Walmart (and yes I got a few looks from other customers) and it seemed very well made and extremely comfortable. Looks like the real deal when using a decoy for those field birds and "watching the bobber" as they say. I also tried the Lock Jaw on my BTD box call when I got home and it seems to work real nice as well. My early observations are two thumbs up for both, with true field tests coming soon.
