Rumors concerning tagged coyotes
Supposedly a "tagged" coyote was killed just across our border in West Virgnia this past deer season. Numbered tags were found in the animal's lip and ear (matching numbers). The hunter contacted a game warden who supplied a phone number in PA - a coyote farm. There the contact supposedly said that a truck load of coyotes were released in VA - paid for by a national insurance company to reduce deer vs. car accidents/claims.
Is this even remotely possible?

Urban legend..........heard some variation of same story several times before. Deer vehicls collisions are how insurance companies make money. It's the insured that foot the bill through higher premiums.

Yeah, I think I would find that suspect. A few to many holes in this one!
