My salted and dried out wing to simulate fly down fell victim to a certain bird dog of mine this winter in the basement. Until I get another turkey I am all out. Has anyone used anything else with success? A hat, a shirt, ???? Any tips would be great. |

I usually use my hat, but friend of mine took a camo shirt and cut in a 14 inch by 14 inch square and stiched two wooden dow rods in opposite sides and he takes and grips the two ends with the dow rods, one in each hand then he almost claps his hands together which causes slack in the material and when he pulls his hands apart it causes the material to go tight and when he does it fast it sounds just like a turkey flying. Hopefully that all made since. |

I use my hat, but have heard that a plastic food lion bag works good |

Hat or a spare pair of gloves I keep in my vest. Used a wing for awhile, but never had better results and it was a pain to carry compared to a hat |

You could always get a new wing from customfeathers.com, they are about ten bucks without shipping. |
