Any idea's on how these early spring symptoms may affect this upcoming turkey season. If it will have any at all.

Don't really see any difference this year so far as the turkey's are concerned in that they seem to be on course.

I think the biologist missed it this year with spring being so early really youth weekend should be this weekend an our opener should be the following. I'm not sure how they judge the breeding i think it's off a nesting base but what i'm thinking about 90% of the hens will be nesting by opener and it will be a good first couple weeks, maybe 90's temp. with mosqitios the size of 747's where i hunt is all flat swampy land. Went to a spot sunday morning i hadn't hunted for a couple years was standing there unexpected what i'd hear an bird gobbled about 60yrds from me so i plopped down really fast i was camoed out then two more gobbled sounded like they were in the same tree. So i sat and the bird that was real close to me landing bout 100yrds from me in the loggin road i was on strutted and gobbled i watched and only two hens came to him then the other two gobbler's showed up an he chased them off, it was really cool to watch.

Our season is always second Saturday of April, just happens to be late as possible this year.
