935 problem
hello fellas i have a small problem with my mossberg 935 auto. it's not ejecting the shell hulls. which is just plain 6 shot. and i am shooting high at 30 yard's. rear sight is all the way down. my need to look for a higher front sight i guess. any ideals? thanks denny

Re: 935 problem
Had a friend buy one from wal-mart last september for deer season did the exact thing wouldn't spit the next round out it cost him a couple nice deer last fall, well he called mossberg to complain they said they look at it but it would take up to 3 months to get it back.

Re: 935 problem
Some gas autos have adjustments that need to be done depending on what power rounds you are firing. If you are shooting light rounds you may have to reduce the gas dump to make it cycle properly. Getting a gun to cycle everything from 2 3/4 to 3 1/2 isn't easy. Check the manual and see if it does have an adjustment. If not it just might need heavier rounds to make it cycle. It may start to work on its own once broken in too, if new.
As for sight problem that is tougher. Scope could make difference. Higher front sight would help, but not too much with windage. Have you shot it without sights?
Good luck.

Re: 935 problem
fwiw, I want any open sighted gun to shoot a little high especially a shotgun. That allows you to hold right below your target and thus be able to see the target at all times. It is especially helpful on a bobbing turkey head. Wingshooting, a tiny bit of built in lead on rising targets doesn't hurt my shooting either.
